Emoticons: They’ll use every available method of human appeal or pressure, all the while never breaching certain very simple rules but just trying to distract you from the fact that they cannot breach these simple rules. While taken by their charms, they work to set you up in all kinds of ways, and at the end you are reminded that those bits of thoughts you had sacrificed to accommodate them, should never have been sacrificed. At times it may seem like a matter of subtleties between ‘games people play’, and games that emoticons play, although if you don’t exercise relevant caution they can very quickly thrive to absurd and paralyzing extents.
