while the threat of the mental health system is always looming over me, there is not much to be said about the mental health system. it's basically the arm of the law that deals with thoughtcrime: if you don't think like them, they can lock you up. once you are in there, it's pretty much up to the idiot doctor to decide how long to keep you, and there is no limit to how long they can keep you, and you do not get a trial, and you do not need to have committed any crime, only thoughtcrime. your family can also have some say about how you are treated and how long you stay. you however don't, because you have been designated as a non-person who is not entitled to make decisions about their own life. as said, you do not need to commit any crime, but only to be judged as a potential threat to yourself or to others. what can make you a potential threat? well, if you are not normal like them.
